Why “Cafferata”

Named after our school

And our school is named after someone worth knowing.

This server is run by and for students of Hector A. Cafferata Jr. K–8. Our school’s namesake, Pfc. Hector A. Cafferata Jr., fought through a freezing night at the Chosin Reservoir in 1950, standing his ground so wounded Marines nearby could be reached and carried to safety. He was awarded the Medal of Honor — and spent the rest of his life saying he was just doing his job for the guys next to him.

We built this server around that same spirit: show up, help your teammates, and don’t let anyone get left behind — in a raid, a build project, or just finding their way around spawn.

  1. Open Minecraft: Java Edition and go to Multiplayer → Add Server.
  2. Paste this into Server Address: play.hectorcafferata.online
  3. Click Done, then double-click the server to join.
  4. First time in? Type /rules in chat to see the rules.
